About the Event
The ISCM invites you to its first event in Latin America. This Spanish-language session will discuss the need for catastrophe models in Latin America with a focus on earthquake models in Argentina.
El ISCM tiene el agrado de invitarlos a su primer evento en América Latina. Esta sesión en español abordará la necesidad de contar con modelos de catástrofes en América Latina, con un enfoque especial en los modelos de terremotos en Argentina.
About the Event
The session will consist of a case study by Pablo Ernesto Cabrera, focussing on the application of an earthquake model in Argentina, and will also discuss the need for additional catastrophe models for the entire region. The session will be introduced by Nahuel Bonfante from the ISCM and Florida Institute of Technology.
This promises to be an enlightening event discussing topics that are high priority for the (re)insurance industry in the region.
