About the Event
Never before has the need to develop robust and coherent catastrophe scenario models been greater. Traditional natural catastrophe perils have become more complex to model, due to their increased correlation with liability and casualty risk. The global pandemic, a “non-black swan” event, has generated the largest “black swan” size economic losses ever: $12.5 trillion. “Emerging Risks” are emerging at a greater rate then ever and climate change is rewriting our understanding of risk correlations.
