Tim joined Howden Tiger in October 2021, with focus on the delivery of catastrophe analytics and related themes to International clients.
Tim has 20 year’s industry experience, having started his career in 2003 at Lloyd’s Syndicate Wellington Underwriting. Tim subsequently spent 15 year’s at reinsurance broking firms, Guy Carpenter and Willis Re, before joining TigerRisk from Lloyd’s of London. At Willis Re, Tim latterly oversaw catastrophe analytics for global accounts and led the Model Research & Evaluation team, responsible for Research & Development initiatives across the International division. At Lloyd’s Tim was responsible for the aggregation of catastrophe and non-natural catastrophe risk across the Lloyd’s market, monitoring and managing this against risk appetite. Tim was also responsible for the catastrophe part of Lloyd’s capital model.
Tim, holds a BSc Economics, an Associateship of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) and is a Certified Catastrophe Risk Management Professional (CCRMP). He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) level 2 candidate.
