Veronica Van Dyke

Veronica Villarreal Van Dyke is a catastrophe risk management executive with more than 20 years of experience in reinsurance and catastrophe risk analytics. She currently serves as Head of Catastrophe Risk Management at Waypoint Underwriting Management, where she leads catastrophe modeling, reinsurance pricing support, and exposure management across the organization's underwriting portfolio.

Throughout her career - including leadership roles at American Family Insurance, BMS Group, and Aon Benfield - Veronica has built and led catastrophe modeling teams, managed vendor and model relationships across platforms including RMS, AIR/Verisk, CoreLogic, and Impact Forecasting, and translated complex loss analytics into enterprise risk and reinsurance strategy.

Veronica joined the ISCM Board in April 2026 and has led the Society's Marketing Committee since January 2024, supporting outreach strategies that grow ISCM membership and awareness of its certification and professional development offerings. She holds credentials as a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA), CPCU, ARe, and CCRMP, and is fluent in English and Spanish.
